16 janvier Man makes his plans but God directs his steps...Well I got really sick of seeing my blog about Christmas since it is definately over, so I decided to write a new one! It's the 28th day of straight rain here in Seattle and we're coming close to breaking an all-time Seattle record. I miss the sun though. ***Well it's 2006, the year I graduate! And the year I legally become an adult... It's a big year, and everyone's making plans for after graduation. Part of me wishes I could know exactly what's going to happen so I could feel more in control of the situation (I guess that's human nature), but the other half of me is just excited for what God is going to do. ***We're going on vacation to Sun Peaks up in Canada, I hope it's nice up there! Our family's never been there before, but it's supposed to be really nice snow. I hope there's ice skating, that's my favorite. Yesterday Tasha and Sethaboo and my little sister and I went ice skating in Everett, it was so much fun! I wish I could get really good someday, but I guess I'm kind of behind Michelle Kwan and all those people, lol... They all won Olympic medals when they were like 14 or something, so that dream is shattered. *sniff* 20 décembre Three Cheers for Christmas!Hi you guys!! I'm almost ashamed to say that right now the most exciting thing about Christmas is having no school. I usually love school and learning, but it was definately time for a break! I can finally sit back, relax and enjoy everything about Christmas. The Charlie Brown Christmas play ended a while ago. I miss the cast and crew a lot, but it's nice to be able to get together with friends and spend some time with my family. Especially now that everyone's home from college!! (I love you Katy and Manda!!! *wink*) I just wish it would snow at our house. We're right next to Lake Washington so the heat from the lake keeps the snow from sticking..ever!! It would be so incredibly awesome if we had a white Christmas this year. But I know it won't happen... *sigh* Oh well. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas this year and a blessed time with your families!!
****Does anyone have any crazy traditions that your family does every year? If anyone can tell me something really funny or weird or maybe just cool that you do every year with family or friends during Christmas, I will leave you a huge Merry Christmas comment on your site!! 20 novembre "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!!"Hey you guys!! Sorry it's been sooo crazy long since I've updated this! But, you should just be grateful that I am updating it now. lol... Well as you may have noticed from the title of this blog, I am in A Charlie Brown Christmas play! And I'm SALLY!! It's pretty much the coolest character ever...except maybe for Linus. He tells Charlie Brown what Christmas is all about, and that's pretty important! Well anyway, the play is going to be awesome. Well since I haven't written anything since like the end of the summer, (*sigh* I'm ashamed of myself.) I'd better update you guys on my life since then. I just had my last choir performance of the year a couple weeks ago (Shannon & Jeff came, I love you guys!!), it was fun but it was hard to think that I won't be doing choir for the Christmas season. Yes, you heard me, no choir for the Christmas season! I have to say I will probably feel very strange not being in choir this season for the first time in 7 years!! But I'm just so excited God's brought me something new (the play) to experience and enjoy, I'm willing to let go of choir for now. I am going to visit Trinity Western with Shannon the day after Thanksgiving!! I'm sooo excited! We have been wanting to go on a "trip" together for a long time, and even though this doesn't totally count, it will still be really fun. I wonder if Trinity is the place God has planned for me for college...I guess I'll find out. Well I gotta go spend some time with the family, God bless you all!! 24 août Is That a Rhetorical Question?Hola Everyone--
*Well this happens to be the 5th blog I have written, however, two of them were deleted before I could publish them!!! The consequences of having two younger siblings who love the computer. Oh well. Life goes on. Actually, probably most of you have fallen over in amazement that I am updating my site! Yes, I have decided to increase my blog-writing to 3 times a year. It might be a little over the edge I don't know, I might switch back to 2 times a year next year, we'll see how everything goes... ;)
*Anyway, summer is coming to a close, it feels like it lasted a year because of all the stuff I did! Craziness. I went on choir tour (we won the gold!), taught at a Daycamp/VBS in Seattle, went to Worldview Academy, went to the Dominican Republic for two weeks, went to Canada on a boat with my family, and did pre-calc and trig in between!! Plus I babysat soo much. I think I made a lot of money. It has been a great summer, and definately not wasted.
*I can't wait to figure out what I'm going to do with my life. I wonder if I'll become a missionary and go somewhere crazy or maybe just get married and settle down after I explore the world for a while. Life is so interesting, I can't wait to see what happens next. God bless you all...
*~*Megs*~* 13 mai I'm 17!!!Yes, this has taken me about 4 years to do but I am finally updating my site! (I don't know why though cuz these things are such a waste of time!!) Anyways, my BIRTHDAY was on May 6th, I am so happy. I love birthdays, I love presents, I love parties and going out to dinner. (I'm not really a hard person to please.) Last year (for my sweet 16) my family surprised me and took me Go-Karting! It was so fun. Here's a pic from that. The year before that I got to sing the National Anthem when the USS Abraham Lincoln came home. Some of the marines got to hold their babies for the first time ever. That was a really really good birthday. This year I got flowers on my birthday, my friend Christian sent them to me from bootcamp!! How sweet is that? The night before my birthday my family went to Red Robin, then I went to SOAR on friday--and everyone sang happy birthday... I love you guys! 9 février Hey GuysOh my gosh it is so pretty today! I can't wait until it's really spring and everything is blooming and stuff. I'm really glad winter is over. And besides, Valentine's Day is coming up! A bunch of us are going out to dinner and swing dancing.
I found out where we're going on choir tour this year. Vancouver. Actually I'm really glad because we WERE going to go to Europe, but I just got back from Europe last fall. I love Europe, but that would be a lot of money, and I think 4 times in 4 years is way too much. So we are doing a choir festival and meeting a bunch of people from other countries (which is just as good if not better than going there!) so I'm excited. It's only for four days, but that's cool.
Then in July I'm going with SOAR to the Dominican Republic. I am very excited. I hope I'll get to teach some dances for our team... |
